About the project

BERG System is comprehensive CRM software for the financial industry that has been supporting advisors, agents, and intermediaries in customer relationship management for years. GMI Software was tasked with creating a mobile version of the system that would free sales teams from desks and allow them to work efficiently in the field.

The BERG System mobile app brings full web CRM functionality to the user's pocket - from customer base management, through meeting calendar, to financial product handling.

Who is the client

BERG System is a Polish CRM software provider with over 10 years of experience in serving the financial industry. The company has its own development team that has been developing an advanced web CRM system supporting:

  • Insurance companies
  • Banks and financial institutions
  • Financial intermediaries
  • Credit advisors
  • Leasing companies

  • Create a mobile version of the system maintaining full web functionality
  • Ensure reliable operation even with weak internet connection
  • Design an intuitive interface adapted to smartphone screens

Technical challenges

Challenge 1: Functionality on small screen

The key challenge was designing a mobile interface that would maintain full functionality while being intuitive and fast to use.

  • Smart forms divided into steps with progress saving
  • Quick access to most frequently used functions
  • Adaptive interface for different screen sizes

Challenge 2: Security of sensitive data

Financial and personal customer data require the highest protection standards, compliant with GDPR and financial sector regulations.

  • Biometric authorization Face ID and Touch ID
  • Automatic logout after inactivity period
  • Secure API via HTTPS with SSL certificate
  • Token-based authentication with refresh

Challenge 3: Calendar for busy sales teams

Sales teams need a tool for managing meetings that is fast and does not require many clicks.

Solution:
  • Daily and weekly view with optimal meeting layout
  • Quick meeting addition with autocomplete
  • Synchronization with system calendar
  • Smart reminders for upcoming meetings
