Challenges
Infinite scroll for learning
From day one, smooth playback was critical. Users cannot wait, buffer, or get frustrated. Short video lessons are large files, and many users are on LTE or weak Wi-Fi.
We implemented precise buffering and smart content management - preloading video without excessive data usage.
Professor Z - your personal AI study assistant
Professor Z had to teach like a real teacher. We combined AI with the Polish curriculum and matched answer level to the child age.
Maintaining conversation context was key so students would not get lost and would receive answers at a natural pace.
One app for everyone (grades 1-8)
How do you build one app for a seven-year-old and a thirteen-year-old? Two very different worlds. We designed interface and content to be clear for younger users without feeling childish for older ones.
Too much video, too little space
Recording and optimising hundreds of lesson videos on slow connections and older phones required balancing quality and performance. Dynamic scaling and caching were essential.
